The accounting program: two routes
Parkland’s certificate program in accounting provides a strong background in the accounting principles and skills needed for positions as bookkeepers and clerks. Students in the degree program also receive a well-rounded background in business. Both programs provide hands-on experience with computer software applications and equipment widely used by business and industry.

Length of study
You can earn your certificate in one year of full-time study and your degree in two years of full-time study. Both programs will take longer on a part-time basis.

Entry requirements
High school graduation or equivalent is required. Basic math and computer skills are highly recommended.
