In a game that featured 30 runs, 40 hits, and 11 home runs, it was probably justice that the Parkland and Kankakee baseball teams battled to a wind-blown 10-inning 15-15 tie, called due to darkness. Parkland's Kevin Crane hit a solo home run with two outs and two strikes in the top of the 9th inning and Cobra reliever Brooks Martin struck out the side with the bases loaded in the bottom half to send the game to extra innings. With the bases still jammed, Cobra reliever Laura Wright struck out the next two hitters to send the game to the 9th.
