CLEP Testing Information

 

CLEP is a national credit-by-examination program that offers an individual the opportunity to earn academic credit for college-level achievement. Find out about the acceptability of credits earned through CLEP at the particular college or university you’re interested in attending before taking a CLEP test.  

We are a CLEP testing site for anyone who wants to take any of the CLEP tests. Visit the CLEP website for more information on the test.

EVERY applicant MUST have the following:
• Two current photo IDs; one must be government-issued.
• Payment

How to pay
• Each CLEP test is $65 and must be paid by entering a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card number into the CLEP registration system.
• Institutional fee: $15 cash or a check made payable to Parkland College or by credit card.
• Optional essays for Freshman College Composition, English Literature, Analyzing and Interpreting Literature, and American Literature: $10 each. Candidates who take these essays will pay the fee in advance when scheduling for their CLEP test.
