Why Choose Parkland College for Online Courses?
Check out Parkland's Distance and Virtual Learning Department's website for a cost comparison. You can also take a Self-Assessment Quiz to find out if you are ready for an online course. All distance learning courses can be challenging, enriching and convenient, but they are not for everyone. They should not be seen as an easy way to earn credits. In fact, these learning environments require as much or more time and energy than traditional classroom learning.
Degree Partnerships
Our partnership schools offer advanced degrees that can be completed at Parkland, either online or with courses taught on the Parkland campus. You can go to our Upcoming Events to find out when our partnership college representatives will be on campus.

Scholarship Opportunities
Most scholarship information can be found on our Financial Aid Department's website.
There is a scholarship for adult women through the COWL Scholarship Fund. There are also scholarships available through the Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education.
