Selective Admissions

Health Careers
> Some health career programs at Parkland College are selective. Students must be admitted to the college prior to admission to the health career program. For more information concerning the requirements and deadlines, view the Selective Admissions advisory sheet or contact the Health Professions department at 217/351-2224.
> All health career applicants are required to submit a nonrefundable $20 application fee before the application will be processed. This fee is required only once in a five-year period.


Ford ASSET Program
The Ford Motor Corporation/Parkland College Automotive Student Service Educational Training program (ASSET) requires specific English and math skill levels in addition to sponsorship by a Ford/Lincoln-Mercury dealer. For information about admissions procedures, contact the ASSET coordinator at 217/351-2481.


Sprinkler System Technology
This is a selective admissions program. Students must apply to both Parkland College and the Academy of Fire Sprinkler Technology. For more information, please call the Engineering Science and Technologies department at 217/373-3838.
