What you’ll do:
Take diagnostic images on patients of all ages using an energized X-ray lab and local medical facilities. Work in a fast-paced environment using the latest in digital technology. Receive one-on-one training at area medical facilities as you prepare for the national RT certification exam. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to multitask and/or critically think in stressful situations are needed. This program is very competitive, so courses in anatomy and physiology, physics, and math are helpful.
Where you’ll go:
After graduation, work in trauma centers, acute care hospitals, and outpatient clinics, or get advanced certification in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiation Therapy, and Nuclear Medicine. Our well-trained graduates often find jobs locally.
