All students are required to complete a background check within 10 working days after the first day of class. Authorization forms will need to be signed the first day of class.I had a background check several years ago for working in childcare. Will I have to get another background check?
Most likely, yes. Check with your instructor or program director.
How long is my CNA certification in effect?
You must be employed as a CNA providing paid nursing or nursing related services to retain certification. Certification expires after 24 consecutive months without paid employment.
