Mass Comm: Audio/Video Production Certificate
Mass Comm: Photography AAS

What you’ll do:
Get hands on experience in a real radio station (WPCD-FM) or in video production (PCTV), as well as opportunities for internships with local media businesses. Our Mass Communication program encompasses Advertising/Public Relations, Audio/Video/Internet Production, Journalism/Photojournalism, and Media Theory/Research/Effects. Introductory coursework in all four areas gives you a solid foundation from which you may choose any of the concentrations offered in a four-year Mass Communication program. (Consult with an advisor concerning the specific requirements of school(s) to which you wish to transfer.)

Where you’ll go:
With an AA degree in Mass Communication, you’ll be ready to transfer as a junior to four-year institutions, while completing the AAS degree prepares you for entry-level positions in your field of study. Work in many fields depending on area of study, including advertising, public relations, event planning, media relations, journalist, customer service representative, or any field that requires communication skills.
